I left my heart in San Francisco: How to have a great day in the city at the end of the rainbow

You only have one day in San Francisco, what to do? No need to fear! With these three easy steps you will have the time of your life. You will need to bring a camera, water and money. If you want to be comfortable dress in layers, the San Francisco climate is very temperate, with sunny weather but harsh wind and it will vary frequently. In the following steps you will go all over the city and discover things that you would have missed with other tour guides, so sit back, grab your hat because the tour moves fast and you will have the opportunity to see a whole lot of things!

1.

1. In order to have a good day, one must rise early. Get up at 7am, and be out the door at 7:30. Go to the Cliff House for an early breakfast. After you're done eating, go to the Musee Mecanique, underneath the Cliff House and have fun playing with the mechanical machines. Take a long walk on the beach and enjoy the Pacific Ocean.

2. Go to Chinatown and enjoy a good Dim Sum lunch at any Chinese Restaurant along Grant Street. Browse the stores and have fun looking at all the stores in Chinatown.

3. After eating a hefty Dim Sum, it would be nice to take a stroll in Golden Gate Park. So many things to see, you have the choice of looking in the Academy of Sciences, the De Young Museum, the Rose Garden or Stow Lake. But be sure to have tea at the beautiful Japanese Tea Garden.

4.

4. Take back to your hotel, and get washed up and dressed up for a night on the town. First, a nice dinner with amazing views of the city at The Equinox. After that, it is your choice to do whatever you want! Have fun!
