Photographs, and holograms and pixel pushing. Everything I create has some photographic beginning or is informed by photographic elements. Capturing a moment in time has as much to do with reflexes as a framing of a pleasing balance, a happenstance of  design or symmetry. What I see may be interpreted by the viewer as something else or universal enough to communicate what I saw and felt when I snapped it. I imagine there are many undocumented moments that I chose not to ‘grab’, yet I have sequestered them in my mind’s eye to inform me about the  ways of the world as I know it.
