Time Enough for Drums
This book, Time Enough for
Drums, is a remarkably well-written historical novel. It takes place in
the early years of the Revolutionnary War, and the heroine, so to speak,
is 16-year-old Jemima Emerson. Jemima's tory tutor, John Reid, is only
a trial to her, until she realizes that there is more to him then she
ever believed. I recomend this book to people with at least a mild interest
in history, for it incorporates historical facts and events into the plot.
