The Giver
The book The Giver by Lois
Lowry is a story that talks about a unknown world in which everything
is perfect, in which everyone lives a perfect life, and is assigned a
job and knows not of what we know. They feel no pain, their emotions are
limited and don't go through all the troubles and pains we go through
daily. In the whole land there is only one person that feels and knows
everything about pain, love, natural disasters, how all the seasons feel.
Also, this person is the only one that knows about poverty, being rich,
having a real family, and knowing what it is like to have real family
love, he knows about all holidays, and basically knows everything that
a normal human being knows and feels. This book shows a different perspective
of life and shows the first reaction to something we go through everyday
for a person that lives in a controlled world in which no emotion and
daily events happen. This book causes goose bumps and makes you want to
read more and more. It shows the importance of life and everything in
it.
