The Elfstones of ShannaraThis book is the second series created by Terry Brooks and is better than the first. If you want to read the first series, it would be advisable, just so you can know the characters. This book is about Wil Ohsmford who lives in the realm of Four Lands. The Ohsmford family has been helping the family for over 200 years and now they are needed again. Wil must protect an elven girl named Amberle from some horrible demons that have come to the Four Lands because of a magical tree called the Ellcrys. The tree holds the demons back from void that they were exiled into when they terrorized the people of 2,000 years ago. This book is a great one, just like the Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R Tolkien If you like that series, you will love this one. |
