first in a series of books, which you can read in almost any order. This
book starts out on Recluce a small isle covered with black buildings and
mages. There you meet A boy as he starts on the way to becoming a wizard.
A series where good and bad are in the eye of the reader. It keeps you
in your seat, and turning pages. Full of action never a dull moment, and
a journey over a diverse and intresting world. With enough believable
magical properties that you will being to believe it is in fact real.
In all this book is a good begining to a fantastic series. A good read.
